So it's understandable when players or managers of trophy winning sides go a little over the top when celebrating a victory.
The following are five celebrations that went off the rails:
Gennaro Gattuso - 2010/2011
AC Milan midfielder, and occasional loose canon, Gennaro Gattuso used the club’s 2011 Serie A title celebrations to sing a song with Rossoneri fans branding former manager and frequent sparring partner Leonardo a "man of shit".Sergio Ramos - 2010/2011
Let's hope the Copa Del Rey is insured, because it was smashed up pretty bad when Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos dropped it in front of a rolling team bus. I'm sure those dents can be hammered out though, right?
After going on a reported 24-hour drinking session, Barcelona's Samuel Eto’o got on the mic during his club's title celebrations and called Real Madrid players “cabrones" (Which basically means either Assholes or Fuckers)!
After leading Bradford City to the Premier League, midfielder Stuart McCall enjoyed himself a little too much at the post match celebration after securing second place in the second tier and drunkenly crashed his car outside of Valley Parade.
The combative Graeme Souness was no stranger to controversy during his incident packed playing career, but it was as a manager at Galatasaray that he really caused a stir. After winning the Turkish Cup, "Chop Suey" planted a Galatasaray flag in the centre circle of hated rivals Fenerbahçe's pitch and almost sparked a riot.
