With his stunning art featured in the programmes of club's such as West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland AFC and Aberdeen FC, artist Paine Proffitt's work might be familiar to some of our readers. But if you haven't seen his artwork before, I'm sure you'll enjoy discovering it as much as we did here at FootyFair.

According to his website, Paine is a self confessed 'workaholic' but his impressive output of football and baseball pieces, in particular, show that although he seems to deliver a lot of quantity, his work is certainly not lacking in quality.

The Euros might be over, but with some European clubs already kicking off their preseason friendlies while other sides around the world continue to battle for domestic supremacy there is plenty of football still on tap.

Euro 2016 Beer Guide - Kit Design

We here at FootyFair love beer and football,an obvious statement given our various beer themed articles from the past. So, when we see a project such as digital artist Chris Hughes's Euro 2016 Beer Guide, you can bet your ass we will feature it on our site. Combining the twenty-four teams from this summer's tournament in France with some of the most popular beers from these nations, Chris morphed the national team kits to represent those breweries and we love it! Here's how he explains this particular project:

Using data from websites such as VinePair.com, I gathered the most popular beer that originates and is brewed from each country competing at the EURO 2016 championships in France.

The kits were redesigned to represent each beer.

Dublin based freelance graphic artist Kieran Carroll is at it again and not surprisingly this time around his project is a tribute to the currently contested 2016 UEFA European Championships. Creating a design for each of the 24 teams in the competition, here's a description of the collection from the artist himself:

In the 24 days leading up to Euro 2016 I created 24 images, one illustration for each country involved. I then released these one by one in a 24 day countdown to the tournament’s opening game on June 10.

While chugging along on my train ride home from Toronto on Thursday night I was jolted awake after stumbling upon the incredible artwork of Daria Isaeva from Russia.

The 19-year old artist, who you can follow on Twitter at @arsenalskaya, had her pencil sketches featured in Metro this week and the passionate Arsenal fan is as skillful with graphite as some of Arsene Wenger's boys are with a ball. Designer Davide Lanave is one of the best artist we have ever seen at recreating entire leagues into kit concepts for a specific brand. We have featured numerous projects by Davide in the past, such as his La Liga - Puma, Serie A - Nike and EPL - Umbro designs. And now the Italian artist has taken on Major League Soccer with concept kits from manufacturer New Balance. As always, the design work is quite impressive, but even more interesting is the fact that Davide has already included expansion clubs such as Minnesota, Atlanta, the new Los Angeles club and even Miami which is not even officialy confirmed yet.

While riding the train home the other day I noticed a father across the aisle with his two young sons who were tearing into packages of Panini stickers.

For the entire hour ride home, the two kids carefully stuck players into the correct spots in their book and studied the bios under each of them. It reminded me of the enjoyment I used to get out of collecting Panini stickers when I was a kid, and having to mail in an order to their HQ for the last four stickers I needed to complete my Italia 90 album.
